Trusting God — Make the Plan, Let God Direct the Steps

Trusting God does not mean you shouldn't plan, or dream, or have goals.

Proverbs 16:9 says: we can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.

I always thought I had to come up with some ideas, but God's just
gonna blow them up anyway, so maybe I shouldn't.

No, I just talked to a guy who said:

You've got to come up with the plan.
It doesn't say God comes up with your plan.
You and I come up with the plan.

We still have to do that part, and then the Lord will direct the steps.

God will do the hard part.

That's the tough part.

After you come up with the big ideas, what do I do next?

The good news for you is that's in God's hands.
