He wrote three words before he passed

Joel and his wife were desperate for answers and for hope.

Their son, Jonathan, was in the hospital in a coma and they were
trying to resuscitate him, but it didn't look promising.

He finally woke up, although the machines all over were beeping, so it
seemed like this could be the end.

A moment of consciousness, he signaled to his dad, Joel, as if he was
seeing someone.

And Joel says, "I couldn't understand what he was saying. I couldn't
understand what he was trying to do."

"So I gave him a pen and a paper to write down what he wanted to tell
me, but I couldn't read his writing."

"He was so weak and he's shaking, so he couldn't really hold the pen properly."

But right before the nurses called a code blue, he was able to write
three words that amazed Joel and everyone in the room because it was
so clearly readable.

And then he passed.

Those last three words:

Jesus is real.
