His father left him when he was 12, and so Rob had to figure out a lot
on his own.

And so during quarantine, he thought, well, maybe I can share a how-to
on YouTube on some basic tasks for other people that might have the
same issue.

Things like how to unclog a sink, how to hang a shelf, and how to change a tire.

And in the first month, his videos were viewed millions of times, and
have gotten a lot of comments from people saying, thank you so much, I
don't have a dad in my life either, and I need to know these things.

He's also sharing some dad wisdom, too, with these people that need it.

Like he shared the other day:

"you're not gonna always do things right, and so it's important to ask
for forgiveness and just not pretend like you've got it all figured
out."
