If you find yourself scrolling on social media and you just can't
stop, It's not just you.
It's called doom scrolling.
It's really addictive.
Getting constant information gives us a little dopamine hit in our
brains. But then you feel bad afterwards, like you're hitting a sugar
crash.
You may want to do what Alondra did - she deleted all her social apps
for a week.
She was shocked at how quickly she felt better.
She didn't have headaches anymore.
She didn't have anxiety.
Now she's reintroducing some social media into her life so she can
stay connected to people.
But she's taking the time to be mindful.
That's the key - mindfulness. Making the decision to only go on
social for a set amount of time - and when the time is up, simply walk
away.
A simple rule to detox from social media
